44,000 TONS OF GYPSUM

Together with International Materials LLC we shipped 44,000 tons of natural gypsum aboard the MV Jabal Hafit which was destined for a 1:2 Port discharge. After evaluating the strike actions in the Port of Richards Bay at the time, the decision was taken to discharge the entire cargo in the Port of Port Elizabeth, to avoid a lengthy, nearly month-long wait outside the Port of Richards Bay. We delivered the entire cargo on a true-end-to-end DDP basis to 2 inland manufacturing plants, the furthest unintentionally located 1,080km from Port Elizabeth.
